So, this is a bit late but… I saw The Monkees in Buffalo last weekend. It was freaking amazing! The Monkees were my first favourite band (when I was 4)… before I even knew it was only meant to be a TV show at first, and seeing them live, well it was just so over whelming! I’m not much of an emotional person but, like, as soon as they started playing… I teared. And then I teared at the Davy moments and then again somewhere in the middle. They were all so energetic for being all over 67, and it was alot better than I had expected going off of what I had seen from recorded performances from their 90s tours.
Mike was hilarious. They performed Daily Nightly!! Micky did a fiiine job on Goin’ Down and Randy Scouse Git (poncho <3). And Peter (and his quirky jokes) was amazing as well!
Sadly we forgot our camera and have no pictures… but I have a shirt, and buttons!!!
Alright, I’m done. I just needed to get that out there…
